Cranaleith and The Warren Cooper Jazz Consortium invite you to a holiday concert and historic house tour of Cranaleith’s Mill-Rae house on Sunday, December 21, from 4-7:15pm.  Join us as we celebrate the season with a focus on non-violence, light and healing.  This special program aims to bring our community together to find solace, hope and peace through music and fellowship.

 

This jazz celebration of peace is inspired both by the season and the vision for a more peaceful world. The Warren Cooper Jazz Consortium will perform classics of holiday and historic extraction along with excerpts from Warren’s most recent release The Permanently Peaceful Project.  Guests will be invited to participate in a short presentation of Warren Cooper’s TAKE 5 Peace Pass Protocol. 

 

The Warren Cooper Jazz Consortium is a fluid collective of ‘1st Call’ Jazz Musicians united around the concept of creating a transformative musical experience in every performance. This ensemble combines virtuosity and creativity with a conscious approach that is Social, Spiritual and Inspirational “…making the room come alive with positive musical sensations…”. 

 

Warren has been a featured performer at the Scranton Jazz Festival, the Washington National Cathedral, South Jazz Kitchen, and at liturgical and private events in conference centers, sanctuaries, and concert halls across the United States. Today, he is most passionate about using his music as an inspirational tool for examining solutions to the problems that exist in our tumultuous world.
