My soul cries out with a joyful shout
That the God of my heart is great
And my spirit sings of the Wondrous things
That you bring to the ones who wait

Canticle of the Turning

In the noisy hostility of our world’s chaos, come, rest in the silent wonder that unleashed Mary’s beautiful, prophetic song. On this simple morning of prayerful pondering, we will enter Mary’s heart. We will bring the surprise and unknown, the joy and ambiguity of our own hearts. Scripture, music and image will hold us in the quiet. The morning will include readings and poetry to nurture us through this beautiful season, as well as a reflective experience of Visio Divina (“sacred seeing”), a meditation in art and music.
