During this event, Drs. Bob Wicks and Gloria Donnelly will consider the general issues of resilience, self-care and secondary stress within the healthcare professions, pressures experienced in reaching out to others and maintaining a healthy perspective–essentially:  the simple care of a hopeful heart.

 

This event focuses on the spiritual care of the healthcare provider as they face the unique stresses and joys of the profession.

 

Following this talk, the authors will follow with a brief Q & A and a time for signing books with those present.

 

There are two options to register for this program:

  • in person includes the program, Q&A session with Bob and Gloria, copy of the book “Overcoming Secondary Stress in Medical and Nursing Practice: A Guide to Professional Resilience and Personal Well-Being”, and sharing light refreshments with fellow attendees and the authors.
