Community Screening of "In Pursuit: Philadelphia & The Making of America" Episode 6

Across the city, Philadelphians are gathering to talk about where we came from – join that conversation in the Northeast!

Join us for a community screening of In Pursuit: Philadelphia and the Making of America, the documentary series that tells the story of American democracy through the history of our city.

This evening we’ll be screening Episode 6: “Wealth” which covers stories of the First World’s Fair, a manufacturing boom, and the women and communities who refused to be left out.

Come before and/or stay after the screening to learn more about how that history is alive at Cranaleith, where Suffragist leaders, including Susan B. Anthony, once gathered in our historic Mill-Rae house, and where we continue to be a space for people on the margins today.
