Community Screening of "In Pursuit: Philadelphia & The Making of America" Episode 6

Across the city, Philadelphians are gathering to talk about where we came from – join that conversation in the Northeast!

Join us at Cranaleith Spiritual Center for a community screening of In Pursuit: Philadelphia and the Making of America, the documentary series that tells the story of American democracy through the history of our city.

This evening we’ll be screening Episode 6: “Wealth” which covers stories of the First World’s Fair, a manufacturing boom, and the women and communities who refused to be left out.

Come before and/or stay after the screening to learn more about how that history is alive at Cranaleith, where Suffragist leaders, including Susan B. Anthony, once gathered in our historic house, and where we continue to be a space for people on the margins today.
