Family Garden Pizza Party!

Does your family love pizza night? Are you looking for a fun and delicious outdoor activity that your whole family can do together? Bring your family out to Cranaleith for an evening of creating a personalized garden to table pizza topped with ingredients picked fresh from our garden. With our summer garden in full bloom there will be lots of delicious toppings to choose from.

The program will start in our garden where we will explore how all the parts of a pizza come from a garden and share some gardening tips to create your own pizza garden at home. Then we will pick fresh garden ingredients, prepare them, and create your own personalized garden-fresh pizzas.

Under the leadership of Cranaleith’s onsite chef, Quintel Coles, individuals can work in different food stations to create your pizzas. You will be provided with a premade pizza crust, shredded cheese, and ingredients to make a fresh marinara sauce. Then, get creative by preparing and adding whatever garden-fresh toppings you like on your pizza. Child-friendly chef’s knives will also be provided at this program for younger children.

After the pizzas are prepared, enjoy a pizza party together and get to know other families in the community. A sweet treat and beverages will also be provided by Cranaleith.

Please dress appropriately for outdoor work in the garden and cooking fun! Bug spray is recommended.

This program is recommended for children ages 5 and up! Children must be accompanied by an adult.
