Join us and celebrate our historic house and beautiful grounds with a variety of FREE family friendly activities.
The day will include:
- Tours of our historic house which is on the official National Register of Historic Places. The house was designed by Minerva Parker Nichols, one of America’s first female architects, and served as a gathering and planning place for suffragettes, including Susan B. Anthony who was a frequent guest.
- Kids nature crafts will be available on our back patio. Create a nature themed masterpiece using items from Cranaleith’s grounds.
- A mindful outdoor scavenger hunt. Use our kid-friendly scavenger hunt guide and enjoy a sensory filled exploration of our 10 acres, including our labyrinth, pond, and other exciting features!
- Beehive and Garden Demonstrations shared by our staff and volunteers at Cranaleith.
- A Family Drum Circle. Led by music teacher Tim Simmons, join in a circle of drumming, rhythm, and fun! Drums will be provided!
Light refreshments will be served!
The event will be held outdoors. If the weather becomes inclement, activities will be moved inside of the Conference and Education Center and the Historic House.
This is a FREE event, but a suggested donation of $25/family is appreciated.
