Mother & Life: Revealing the Invisible Patterns That Shape Us
Ellen Browning-Lafferty
June 28, 2025
Our relationship with our mother is the first imprint we receive—the first experience of love, safety, and separation. As Bert Hellinger, founder of Family Constellations, taught, this primary bond becomes a metaphor for how we relate to life itself. Do we receive life with open arms, or do we struggle, feeling unseen, unsupported, or disconnected?
In this interactive group Family Constellations workshop, we’ll explore the hidden dynamics that shape our relationship with our mothers—and, by extension, with life itself. Through this reflective and meditative group process, we’ll gently uncover and explore ancestral burdens, inviting shifts in patterns of self-sacrifice, resentment, or longing. This workshop is designed for individuals—our family does not need to be present for us to identify and begin to transform these deep-rooted dynamics.
Whether you seek deeper self-care, more ease in your relationships, or clarity in your path, this work offers the possibility of profound shifts. You’re welcome to bring a personal question related to a current life challenge or to attend as a witness to others’ process. This is an interactive and engaging workshop that involves direct participation from all in attendance. Open to adults 18 and older. Join us in this sacred space for healing, insight, and renewal.
