EVERY SUNDAY EVENING OF LENT from 7 pm – 8 pm, EST.
A 5-week Online Series co-sponsored by New Encounters & the Office of Pastoral Care for Migrants & Refugees
Jesus told his disciples—and now us—that the path to life with Him requires suffering with Him and with our sisters and brothers. As we enter Lent this year, we see that suffering is widespread in our country, especially for those some view as “other” because of their race or immigration status. The spiritual wisdom of Catholics from nations and cultures around the world challenges us to reject that distorted view of each other, and to be transformed in Christ’s love.
Our series will feature testimonies on the Lenten journey to the Cross by local Catholics whose faith was formed in Africa, Southeast Asia and the Caribbean.
