Join us on at Cranaleith’s art room to care for your well-worn pieces of clothing. Keeping with our concern for the earth, you will be able to repair, reinforce, or add some style to your most loved garments. We will be practicing Sashiko, a methodic way of repairing holes in fabric originating in Japan. We will have sewing needles, plain scrap fabric, and plain thread for you to use. Please bring the clothing you would like to give new life to, as well as, anything you would like to add, and we will provide help. This method is best suited for denim and cotton.  For any questions or concerns please contact our facilitator, Jess Wszolek Jwszolek@cranaleith.org . This program will be running the last Thursday of the month during January, February and March from 3-4:30 pm.
