to live inside a question and coexist with the tensions of uncertainty?

Where is our willingness to incubate pain and let it birth something new?

What has happened to patient unfolding… to endurance?

These things are what form the ground of waiting.

Late November bursts with creation’s ripened journey, Thanksgiving tables laden with gift. One with earth’s wisdom, we face into the dark season ahead. More than ever in our day, we recognize this moment as a time of profound uncertainty and unknowing. We see it not as place of ignorance and powerlessness, but rather a space of unknowable light and mystery where we can connect with something greater through grateful love and intuition.

On this day of quiet presence to our unanswered questions and anxieties, we will help one another to view them as sacred ground, and opportunities for deep hope. We will draw on the insights of the mystics and poets, as well as the truth we find in one another. The healing beauty of Cranaleith will hold us in this grace. The day will include time for silence, a guided meditation and simple response in art, and exploration into the moral injury we share with our world. Join us as we prepare for the Thanksgiving feast with gratitude and trust for the journey ahead.
