The Paradigm Shift of Synodality: An Introduction (online)
Bernadette Rudolph
April 3, 2024
Change is afoot in the Catholic Christian Church – change on the level of a paradigmatic shift. Pope Francis has invited all members of the Church to make the spiritual practice of synodality, used by Jesus, a regular part of their lives. Synodality means “walking together in the Spirit.” It takes seriously the presence of the Divine in each person and in their lived experience. Instead of listening just to some people, what if we listened to all people? What if we really let the Spirit drive the bus?
As you may be aware, Cranaleith’s Bernadette Rudolph has been working to animate synodality locally and went to Rome in October to support the gathering of global delegates. She recognizes that everyone must be involved to make this shift happen. She also recognizes that synodality looks just like the mission of Cranaleith. Join Bernadette for an evening of information about this global transformation; we will also participate in the process of synodal listening together.
