The Spirituality of Racial Justice
Lauren Brownlee
February 22, 2025
The call to treat people with dignity, respect and love is articulated across faith traditions. In this workshop, participants will consider the patterns of bias, particularly around race, that show up in our spiritual communities and will analyze how principles of racial justice reflect the principles of our own faith traditions.
Sessions will include space for silent reflection; readings; workshopping scenarios; and sharing in pairs, small groups, and the entire participant community.
Through this workshop, participants will be empowered to speak up for equity and justice in spiritually grounded ways.
