Toll the Bell Day
Maria DiBello, RSM
June 6, 2025
Join us at Cranaleith as we stand, aligned with our critical concern of nonviolence, and in solidarity with those who have experienced gun violence and with those working to end gun violence. On this day we ring our historic bell as we participate in the Toll the Bell project led by Penn Live Arts. We will gather ‘round our historic bell in song, prayer and blessing of our city. Cranaleith’s bell was first used during the “troubles” in Ireland to warn the villagers of violent attack. We will call out our solidarity with efforts to end gun violence in our neighborhoods and invite all who hear to join the call.
This is a city-wide sound installation to honor the victims of gun violence and raise awareness for those working to have a positive impact in our city.
This is a FREE program for all.
